Will turned the big 1.0 last week! It was fun, lots of friends came, and we even made Will a big cupcake, complete with chocolate frosting, and HE ATE THE WHOLE THING! Here's the problem though: in all the excitement, neither of us took a single picture of the event. Our little boy's first birthday passed by without a single still photo as evidence that we actually celebrated it. We did take video; but due to the length of the video (and our technological limitations), we're unable to post it to the blog. SORRY! You'll just have to take our word for it that his methodical, and eventually, quite messy disassembling of the cupcake was really, really cute. (Especially the part where he raised his messy hands in triumph when he was done.)
So, in lieu of the birthday video, we
were about to post another charming video, this time of him checking himself out in the mirror, but apparently that one's too big too. We might be on to something here... maybe the videos aren't too big, but maybe our internet is too slow! Hmmm... Maybe all hope isn't lost on ever getting to see him eat that cupcake. Here's hopefully looking to faster connections in the near future...
